Textron is seeking an entry-level Assoc Procurement Specialist in Georgia. The role supports material planning, PO creation, supplier communications, and adherence to weekly production plans in a fast-paced MRP environment.

You'll analyze demand, place and expedite orders, document part-number changes, assess supplier performance, and track delivery to keep inventory at optimal levels. This position offers mentorship and growth opportunities within Textron.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
• 0-2 years of experience required.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze material demand for purchase and on-time delivery in MRP to ensure schedule accuracy and identify improvements.
• Place purchase orders and expedite materials to meet weekly production plans.
• Implement and document plans for all part number changes or usage changes.
• Analyze domestic and international shipping forecasts to optimize inventory levels.
• Track supply and delivery to provide timely communications to management.
• Assess supplier performance against goals by monitoring quality, delivery, and cost savings.
• Disposition discrepant material as needed.
• Create purchase orders and ensure delivery.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain product, price, availability, and delivery information.
