Summer Analysts join for 10 weeks in June and are placed on a team within the Finance division. They will receive an intensive hands‑on introduction to Finance at Morgan Stanley and broad exposure to the various functions across Finance.
The Summer Analyst Program begins with a one‑day firmwide orientation, followed by a markets overview and business‑unit specific training. The remainder of the training is on the job. Throughout the Summer, Analysts participate in senior management speaker seminars, a group project, community service, and social and networking events to build Summer Analysts' professional networks.
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

Expected base pay rate for the role will be $25.49 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
