Anova Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and coordinate services for students with disabilities. Location to be determined; Missouri certification required.
You will act as an IEP case manager, deliver instruction in regular and special settings, communicate with teachers and parents, and maintain required records using DESE guidelines. This exempt position reports through the school site principal and the Director of Pupil Services, requiring
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Special Education Teacher functions under the direct
supervision of the school site principal in collaboration with the
Director of Pupil Services.
To provide specialized instruction and coordination of special education
services for individual students with disabilities.
The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability. This individual must be able to travel between district facilities. The position requires a moderate amount of travel and physical activity.
The work environment is consistent with typical office/school environment.
