The Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a Nutrition & Wellness Worker I to provide essential support in food service operations across varying school locations. Grade & Compensation: Grade 11, $15.15/hour

This job reports to Kitchen Manager.
The job of Nutrition & Wellness Worker I is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service personnel at assigned location with specific responsibilities for food service activities at an assigned school location; food preparation activities and complying with the National School Lunch Program and mandated health requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Responsibilities include: working under direct supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; providing information and/or advising others. There is a continual opportunity to impact the organization’s services.
The usual and customary physical demands include significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Typically 10% sitting, 30% walking, and 60% standing. The job is performed under temperature extremes and with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. Ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
