Job summary

Magnolia Public Schools seeks a qualified teacher in California to deliver engaging instructional activities aligned with the charter's curriculum. You will design lessons, assess student learning, and collaborate with colleagues to meet instructional goals.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in subject matter.
• California Commission on Teacher Credentialing credential, certificate, permit or other documentation equivalent to what a teacher in other public schools would be required to hold.
• Highly qualified in core courses as defined in the section titled “NCLB and Credentialing Requirements”.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and use lesson plans aligned to the charter's curriculum.
• Teach instructional subjects according to California Department of Education guidelines.
• Implement instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with staff to determine instructional goals and methods.
• Maintain classroom management and provide a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
