Crowley ISD is seeking an assistant to the Director of Bands to manage the Color Guard program. Responsibilities include running rehearsals, performance management, and show design during both marching band and indoor seasons.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of instructing experience, along with a valid Texas driver's license. The position offers a salary starting at $23,263 for 187 working days annually.
As an assistant to the Director of Bands, act as the visionary expert for the Color Guard program. Be responsible for all elements of running the Color Guard program both during marching band and the winter indoor season. Duties and responsibilities include rehearsal skills, performance skills (both individual and group), show design, technology, and the ability to communicate well with others.
3-5 years of instructing Color Guard or related areas of study or duties involved.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of computer. May be required to perform job duties including ability to conduct instruction, attend meetings and professional development, and make and receive phone calls in a virtual or remote workplace environment.
Minimum Salary: $23,263. Work Calendar: 187 days. Salary calculated based upon experience (CP1/187 Calendar).
