Wonderful College Prep Academy in California's Central Valley seeks thoughtful, inclusive substitute teachers with a subject focus in Special Education, Math, Science, and ELA. You will join a team dedicated to students and families and to delivering high-quality learning experiences.

Responsibilities include leading classrooms for day-to-day and long-term assignments, following lesson plans, supporting tutoring and small-group differentiation, maintaining data trackers, and helping with campus

Formación

• Must have a valid California Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Previous substitute teaching, instructional aide, or relevant experience preferred.
• Committed to our organization's mission and educational philosophy.
• Organized and self-managed, able to handle many responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, or oral and written.
• Able to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Dependable and excellent at follow-through.
• Computer knowledge and skills; familiar with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Support campus safety and follow school policies during arrival, dismissal, and daily activities.

Job Description

Currently looking for candidates with a subject focus inSpecial Education, Math, Science, and ELA.

Here's what you'll do:

• Shared Vision:Supporta vision of excellence forallstudents, with an urgency to maximize every opportunity necessary to achieve ambitious student outcomes
• Substitute Teaching: Lead the classroom for both day-to-day and long-term assignments. Follow lesson plans, implement direct instruction, and behavior management strategies
• Teaching and Learning:Push into classrooms to support student tutoring, enrichment, and small group differentiation in literacy and/or mathematics
• Support Classroom Data Tracking: Maintain blended learning data trackers for students to ensure all students are making adequate progress
• Campus Safety:Supportcampus supervision before, during, and after school dismissal. Follow all school policies and guidelines regarding safe school practices.

Qualifications

• Meet minimum requirements for a valid CaliforniaSubstitute Teaching Permit

Pay:$225 daily rate.
