Speech Language Pathologist

Part-Time (up to 4 hrs/day)

Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for a part‑time (up to 4 hrs/day) speech‑language pathologist position that may become available within our division for the 2026 – 2027 school year.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Hold a master’s degree in Speech/Language, Speech Pathology, or Communication Disorders
Hold or be eligible for an active license with a valid endorsement in speech language pathology issued by the Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
Possess a professional understanding of speech/language disorders
Possess thorough knowledge and ability to administer appropriate speech/language tests and support materials
Demonstrate ability to support students by cooperatively working with parents/guardians and teachers
Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students
Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment
Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Have experience working with students with disabilities in preschool through high school
Have experience delivering speech therapy services within an inclusive environment

FLSA: Exempt

SALARY: $43.33 - $60.25 per hour; commensurate with experience
