Ballard Community School district currently needs full-time paraprofessionals in all of our buildings. Para-educators work approximately 36 hours per week. This position is assigned to work 173 student contact days. Additionally, paraprofessionals receive 4 paid holidays and do not work during summers or school breaks.
Pay is annualized so you will receive a check in July and August. Minimum hourly base rate is $13.85. Additional compensation is available for related experience and education such as a paraprofessional certificate, AA degree, or BA/BS degree.
This position includes a district paid individual health plan, $20,000 life insurance policy and long-term disability. Optional dental and vision coverage, flex spending and dependent care accounts are also available. IPERS contributions begin day 1 and paid leave (sick and personal) are provided.
