Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is based on an annual salary of $68,247. See NON-SENATE INSTRUCTIONAL UNIT 18 for the salary range for this position.

Position description

The Department of Psychological Science anticipates openings for Lecturers during fall quarter 2025, winter quarter 2026, and spring quarter 2026. These appointments will be made as needed to cover specific topics in developmental, social, personality, health, biological, clinical, and cultural psychology, as well as research methods and statistics. Appointments are generally for one quarter, up to three quarters, with salary based on experience and course load.

Our faculty are prominent scholars with specialties across various psychology fields, committed to interdisciplinary research and societal relevance.

Service periods for the academic year include:

  • 2025-2026: 07/01/25-06/30/26
  • Fall 2025: 09/22/25 to 12/12/25
  • Winter 2026: 01/02/26 to 03/20/26
  • Spring 2026: 03/25/26 to 06/12/26

Minimum qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • College-level teaching experience
