DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a highly qualified candidate for a full-time, tenure-track position in Physical Education. An understanding of developmentally appropriate activities and assessment is essential. The successful candidate will
demonstrate extensive knowledge of how to develop lessons to promote engagement and participation of all students in lifetime fitness, wellness, and self-self-management skills. Candidates will need to utilize a strong
instructional and assessment repertoire, skills at incorporating technology, and an enthusiasm for utilizing culturally responsive practices with diverse populations and ability levels.

SALARY:
Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers’ Contract

QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State Certification in K-12 Physical Education is required.

EFFECTIVE:
August 26, 2025
Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 19-21 is required.
