Purpose Statement

The job of Teacher - Elementary involves supporting the instructional process by supervising students, developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, collaborating with staff, and communicating with parents about student progress.

Essential Functions
  • Administers assessments to evaluate student competency and develop learning plans.
  • Communicates student progress to parents and guardians.
  • Assesses student progress and provides feedback.
  • Collaborates with staff, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes.
  • Counsels students to enhance performance and well-being.
  • Implements pedagogical approaches to engage learners.
  • Differentiates instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Supervises and manages classroom behavior.
  • Organizes activities to promote participation.
  • Participates in team meetings and professional learning communities.
  • Prepares documentation and reports on student progress.
  • Reports safety issues and responds to emergencies.
  • Addresses inquiries from parents, staff, and administration.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
