Compensation: Click here to view the 2024-25 teacher salary schedule. Rates for this position can be found in Appendix -a-, Schedule A. This position is eligible for medical and dental benefits.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials; provide individualized and small group instruction; adapt curriculum to student needs.
  • Translate lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior for an effective learning environment.
  • Evaluate students' academic and social growth; maintain records; prepare progress reports.
  • Identify student needs; make referrals; develop strategies for individual education plans.
  • Communicate regularly with parents via Schoology, newsletters, calls, emails, conferences, etc.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best teaching practices.
  • Engage in professional learning communities.
  • Integrate technology into instruction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community members.
  • Support and communicate with administrators and staff.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Follow school district policies.
  • Coordinate work of paraprofessionals and volunteers as needed.
  • Contribute to goal-setting for paraprofessionals.

  • Apply skills effectively in daily routines.
