WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Elementary Lead Teacher, your work will focus on the following:
Drive Academic Results
- Develop and deliver rigorous, engaging lesson plans aligned with RePublic’s curriculum framework and Common Core Standards.
- Use data to track student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster a classroom environment where scholars feel valued, inspired, and supported to achieve high expectations.
Foster a Collaborative Culture
- Work closely with your grade-level team to plan lessons, analyze student data, and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in weekly professional development sessions, embracing constructive feedback to continuously improve your craft.
- Support and learn from colleagues, contributing to a school culture of growth, accountability, and joy.
Cultivate Meaningful Relationships
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate frequently with families about scholar progress, ensuring they are partners in their child’s success.
- Serve as a role model for scholars, demonstrating resilience, integrity, and optimism.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Valid teaching certification or enrollment in a state-accredited Alternative Certification Program by the start of employment.
- Preferred: Previous teaching experience in elementary education, particularly in underserved communities
