Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics, business administration, computer sciences, or a related field.   • Provide districtwide vision and leadership for developing and implementing technology initiatives that support the district's goals, emphasizing integration of technology-based teaching and learning in all classrooms.
  • Coordinate development, refinement, and execution of the strategic plan for the learning organization, involving all stakeholders and governance committees in IT planning and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent of Schools and Executive Cabinet to make informed IT decisions.
  • Lead IT initiatives, collaborating across departments to support the adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school business processes, including those that enhance teaching, learning, and promote 21st-century skills.
  • Provide leadership and direction for the maintenance and support services for client computing technologies, enterprise software, peripherals, and professional learning design and creation.
  • Offer technical assistance to program managers and field-based team leaders on current and emerging IT initiatives.
  • Ensure that the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications and infrastructure systems support teaching, learning, and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the district's information and technology systems to support district goals.
  • Create and support cross-functional teams for needs assessment, planning, decision-making, technology support, and professional learning.
  • Manage and monitor the district's data governance and management program.
  • Review and monitor adherence to technical architecture and IT standards for all products, services, and data systems.
  • Oversee all IT functions, closely monitoring system access, data security, network, and cyber security.

  • Create and ensure compliance with district IT policies and procedures, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the operations of the Technology and Information Systems Services Division (TISS).
