Position Objective
The job of Teacher (K-12) is to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Prepare classroom for class activities.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
- Identify and select instructional resources and methods to meet students’ needs.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Use relevant technology to support instruction.
- Observe and evaluate students’ performance and development.
- Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments.
- Provide feedback on work.
- Encourage and monitor individual student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
- Update records as required by laws and policies.
- Prepare reports on students and activities.
- Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules.
- Maintain discipline according to school policies.
- Apply disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Perform pastoral duties such as student support and counseling.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and meetings.
- Communicate with students, colleagues, and parents about student progress.
- Stay updated with developments in teaching methods and resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Meet professional teaching requirements of the district and state.
- Single subject teaching credential or certification if applicable.
- State certification.
- Relevant teaching experience.
- Knowledge of relevant technology.
- SEI Endorsement required.
