Position Details

This full-time position will run through the end of the current school year and the following year. It involves working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals is essential, along with maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with school policies.

Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • SLPs graduating Spring or Summer 2025 are encouraged to apply for the 2025/2026 school year
Rate
  • Hourly rates are negotiable based on experience and pediatric caseload practice
  • SLP-CFY: $43-$49 per hour
  • SLP-CCC: $50-$55 per hour
