ROLE DESCRIPTION
Our Teacher Librarian plays a vital dual role as both an educator and information specialist. This professional is responsible for developing, managing, and promoting a dynamic library and media center that supports literacy, inquiry, and digital citizenship. The teacher librarian collaborates with classroom teachers to enhance student learning through the integration of literature, information literacy, and technology.

K-8 Elementary School Teacher Librarian and/or K-12 School Teacher Librarian endorsement required.
EVALUATION
The performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of licensed personnel.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
Medium Work - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Stooping and kneeling occasionally. Reaching, talking, and hearing frequently. Must be able to remain mobile throughout the workday.
