Job Description

We have the following Supplemental Contract position(s) available:

1.0 Building Assessment Coordinator - GES

Summary:

The position is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the scheduling and administration of assessments at the state, national, and district levels.
  • Developing and delivering training sessions for school personnel on assessment protocols, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assisting administration with distributing, collecting, and returning all test materials according to state and local guidelines.
  • Monitoring district test security protocols for all assessments.
  • Communicating assessment-related information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the accurate and timely entry of assessment data into the district's information systems.
  • Collaborating with the district's data team to analyze assessment data and identify trends.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports directly to the Building Administrator overseeing Assessment.
  • Coordinates with the Supervisor of Assessment and Accountability.
  • Works cooperatively with other administrators, staff, parents, and stakeholders.

Terms of Employment:

  • As outlined in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Salary as described in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

To perform this position successfully, the candidate must:

  • Be proficient in using technology for communication and research.
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills to interact diplomatically with teachers, administrators, parents, students, and outside contacts.
  • Be proficient in spreadsheets (Excel, Sheets), including functions and data analysis.
  • Be able to use hands to handle objects, talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Have specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.
  • Possess effective communication, judgment, planning, and human relations skills, and work under stress when necessary.
