The Engineering Environment Development & Support (EEDS) team provides coast to coast support to engineering and manufacturing organizations within Northrop Grumman. We are seeking candidates to expand our engineering process support staff in the area of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM). The PLM environment contains Engineering and Manufacturing product and process data and will integrate with other software systems including ERP, MES and multiple CAD/Engineering tools. This position will be a part of the Corporate Chief Information Office and Pathways Rotational Program offering 3 1-year rotations.
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate strong analytical skills combined with a service-oriented mindset, good communications skills, and attention to detail. The role will provide exposure to sector-wide business areas, technologies, and users. This role offers the option of full-time telecommuting.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or computer science discipline
Experience with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also required.
Work effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country.
Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality. Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Siemens’ Teamcenter and Active Workspace
Familiarity with mechanical engineering or electrical engineering CAD tools
Familiarity with Configuration management practices
Familiarized with different bills of material (BOM) (e.g. CAD-BOM, EBOM, MBOM)
Salary range 65,600 - 98,400
