Disclaimer: All dates of operation, modes of delivery, and program implementation are subject to change as per guidance from the SCDE and BCSD officials. This is a temporary position.

Pay rate: $40.00 per hour

Work Hours: TBD

Working Dates: May 30, 2025 - August 6, 2025 (Time/Dates will be determined by Supervisor)

Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field including, but not limited to Criminal Justice, Rehabilitative Counseling, Elementary or Secondary Education. Candidates should demonstrate theoretical and/or practical knowledge in treating emotional and behavioral disturbances in children and adolescents. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Temporary Employee Application Requirements

  • Valid SC Teaching Certificate (if applicable)
  • Negative TB test results taken within the last year. Applicants are encouraged to upload their TB test results. If not completed, a document acknowledging that results will be uploaded once available is required. Delay in submitting TB results may postpone onboarding. Current BCSD employees do not need to retake the test.
