Job summary

Page Hilltop Elementary School in Ayer is seeking a long-term substitute paraprofessional for at least 12 weeks, with the potential to stay on longer. You will support students' social, emotional, and educational development while maintaining confidentiality and assisting with routine classroom tasks and duties as directed by the administration.

The position requires an Associate's Degree or passing score on Parapro, with ABA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or passing score on Parapro required.
• ABA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures confidentiality regarding all student information.
• Supports the social/emotional and educational development of students.
• Assists with routine classroom clerical and maintenance activities.
• Performs lunch, transportation, and recess duties as assigned by the administration.
• Implements inclusive activities and teacher-planned lessons as directed by the classroom and/or Special Education teacher.
• Communicates student issues and concerns to teacher/team members.
• Maintains a professional attitude and relationship with all staff.
• Demonstrates a commitment to professional growth and attends professional development opportunities as required.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.
