Job summary

Oasis Church in Charlotte, NC is seeking a resident for its 24-month Oasis Residency program. This full-time role is designed to develop the next generation of ministry leaders through mentoring, hands-on deployment in college ministry, church leadership, or a custom track.

Residents are supported financially as they raise their own support, while being mentored by pastoral staff and serving alongside assigned volunteers to advance Gospel Renewal locally and globally.

Qualifications

• The Oasis Residency is a 24-month, support-raised position designed to develop the next generation of ministry leaders.
• Residents are mentored, stretched, and deployed into high-impact ministry to act as catalysts for Gospel Renewal in Charlotte and around the world.

Responsibilities

• Ministry Deployment: Lead and oversee specific ministry initiatives within a chosen track (College, Church Leadership, or Custom).
• Leadership Development: Participate in regular mentoring and training sessions with pastoral staff.
• Team Shepherding: Recruit, train, and disciple a diverse pool of volunteers, fostering spiritual maturity and unity.
• Collaborative Planning: Work with staff to ensure programs are culturally inclusive and aligned with the church’s vision.
• Support Raising: Actively engage in raising and maintaining personal financial support for 24 months.
