Job summary

The Wisconsin Historical Society seeks an Education and Public Programs Coordinator for Wade House Historic Site in Greenbush. This 2-year project develops and tests PK-12, family, public, and special event programming, delivering it and refining the model based on feedback from participants.

The role will culminate in a documented program plan, curriculum, and resources ready for ongoing operations by Wade House staff after the project ends.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating learning with students of various ages in informal or formal education settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, pilot, evaluate, and refine an education, school, and public programs framework for Wade House Historic Site.
• Test program concepts through real-world delivery and gather feedback from students, educators, visitors, staff, and partners.
• Document program plan, curriculum, interpretive materials, evaluation tools, training resources, and procedures for sustainability by permanent staff.
• Coordinate or lead teams to implement a strategic program schedule and special events.
