Job summary

A San Francisco family is seeking an experienced Full-Time Rotational Nanny to care for two young children on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation. You’ll live in during your rotation with your own bedroom and join a caring, professional team in a walkable neighborhood across from a park.

The role requires at least 3+ years of nanny experience with infants/toddlers, West Coast or nearby-state residency, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
• Prior rotational nanny experience strongly preferred.
• Based on the West Coast or in a nearby state, with reliable travel to San Francisco for each rotation.
• Able to commit to a long-term 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule.
• Comfortable living in during rotation weeks, sharing a bathroom with the children.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong swimmer who is comfortable swimming with young children.
• Self-starter with a warm approach and strong professional boundaries.
• Must be able to provide 3-5 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, attentive care for a 1-year-old and a nearly 3-year-old during on-rotation weeks.
• Keep daily routines in place for naps, meals, play, and bath time.
• Plan age-appropriate activities that support early development, language, and social skills, including outdoor play at nearby parks.
• Help with toddler milestones, including potty training readiness.
• Plan meals, shop for groceries, and prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Do child-related light housekeeping, including children’s laundry and tidying play areas.
• Communicate clearly with the parents and the rotating nanny for smooth handoffs between rotations.
• Be flexible to cover an occasional evening or night when needed.
