Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry in Newmanstown, PA is seeking an experienced Mill Operator to join our production team. You will operate milling equipment, read drawings, and ensure components meet specifications and quality standards.

You will monitor machine performance, adjust settings, inspect materials before and after milling, and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues. Physical stamina to stand and handle materials is required.

Mill Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced Mill Operator to join our production team. This position plays a key role in the ensuring materials are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate milling equipment to produce components according to drawings, measurements, and specifications
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect materials before and after milling to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and technical specifications
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve material or machining issues
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on milling equipment
• Track material usage and communicate shortages or concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating milling equipment, power tools, hand tools, and various saws in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality components
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work orders
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust machine settings as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production team
