2 Immediate Openings for Hospitalists just 100 miles from Chicago, Illinois!!

Hospital is currently seeking a day time Hospitalist and a Nocturnist. The hospital is located in a city of 26,000 people with a service area of 95,000 people. Hospital is an integrated healthcare network serving northwestern Illinois, southwestern Wisconsin, and eastern Iowa. Hospital is the central hub of the network and boasts 100 beds with all private rooms.

We are seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for the day time Hospitalist position. We are specifically seeking a Family Medicine or Med/Peds Physician for the Nocturnist Position. Practicing candidates must be board certified and new residents must be board eligible.

Position highlights include:

1. Both positions are full time, employed positions – 7 on/7 off
2. 2 Hospitalists are on during the day time hours and 1 Nocturnist per shift.
3. Response to hospital codes and rapid response calls is required.
4. Rounding on ICU is required.
5. We do not require procedures, but welcome the ability to provide them.
6. Hospital has an e-ICU with affiliations with the University of Wisconsin.
7. EMR is Meditech - CPOE
8. Average number of admissions is 2-7
9. Average number of patients evaluated per night is 2-4; Daytime - average 15 patients on case load
