Job summary

Hostphase is seeking a Back-end Engineer to design and implement automation services for our cloud infrastructure from a remote or USA-office setting. You will own backend components, contribute to architecture decisions, and help evolve services in production.

The role requires 2+ years of PHP and MySQL, Linux/networking know-how, and solid English communication. Optional experience with Docker and RESTful services is a plus.

In this role you will:

What we are looking for:

2+ years of hands‑on PHP and MySQL experience

Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and networking

Comfortable reading and writing in English at an intermediate level

Sound back‑end architecture and development ability

A practical, methodical approach to problem solving.

Nice to have:

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Python, Go, Docker, or Symfony
• Background owning complex products end to end
• Advanced English reading and writing skills
• Designing and consuming RESTful services.
