Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the practicing state
• Minimum 1 year Telemetry experience (preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• TB test or PPD/Chest X-ray per policy
• Current health certificate
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care and clinical judgment under supervision
• Coordinate patient care with healthcare team in telemetry setting
• Adhere to nursing standards and maintain accountability for patient care

Job description

As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN - Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision. The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care, and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year experience in Telemetry Preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
