AlliedTravelCareers in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Histologist to join a fast-paced clinical lab on a contract, onsite basis. You will perform embedding of surgical, autopsy, and cytology specimens; conduct microtomy and cryotomy at 2–10 microns; execute H&E and special stains; troubleshoot artifacts; and manage slide/block reconciliation while using hospital and laboratory information systems.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of specimen types in a dynamic lab.

Formación

• Experience in histology technology with proficiency in routine histology technologist responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to perform microtomy, cryotomy, and standard staining techniques.
• Familiarity with hospital and laboratory information systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• HT or HTL certification (ASCP or equivalent)
• Experience with a broad range of specimen types including surgical, autopsy, and cytology
• Prior experience troubleshooting histological processing and staining issues
