Job summary

Qualifications

• Inspect finished welds for quality and consistency.

Skills

Strong previous experience as a Welder / Fitter

Ability to work with minimal fixturing

Comfortable reading tape measures and blueprints

Pro Resources is hiring for a Highly Skilled Welder / Fitter for a respected manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you go directly onto the company’s payroll from day one.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Fit and weld structural and metal components with precision
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding processes as needed
• Measure, align, tack, and assemble materials accurately
• Inspect finished welds for quality and consistency
• Work independently while meeting production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience as a Welder / Fitter
• Ability to work with minimal fixturing
• Comfortable reading tape measures and blueprints
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Must be able to pass an on-site weld test
• High School Diploma / GED preferred
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
