Job summary

Marion Body Works is hiring a Welder Level 1 for Final Assembly in Marion, WI. You will weld and assemble vehicle products and support a fast-paced manufacturing team. Proficiency within 30 days is required, with a background in welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.

You will rotate among workstations, follow policies, and contribute to continuous improvement while meeting NFPA specifications and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Prefer Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing.
• Prefer High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies, purchased, manufactured and finished goods for delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads and supervisors.
• Rotate to different workstations to balance line flow.
• Use VMI, Kanban cards, material withdrawal forms, stock, fabricated, and special-order parts to keep inventories accurate.
• Assemble water pumps, foam systems and front bumpers.
• Weld aluminum, steel and stainless steel.
• Install PTOs, drivelines, hydraulic hoses and tire chains.
• Install trim and lights and ensure NFPA compliance.
• Assist in truck operations to pass third party testing.
