Job Description

Process manufactured parts through washing equipment according to control plan and customer requirements. Ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the entire process while working in a team. The first shift is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with occasional overtime.

  1. Ownership of equipment start up, ensuring settings are correct to prescribed readings, including the proper addition of cleaning solutions and rust preventative per lab instruction.
  2. Conduct periodic chemistry testing of water/soap mixture and maintain proper levels.
  3. Maintain existing automation and its functions.
  4. Responsible for safe use of electric power equipment (pallet jack).
  5. Load and unload machine, managing lot integrity.
  6. Packing parts according to predetermined customer quality requirements.
  7. Utilize automated and manual packing instructions found in operator book.
  8. Move processed work to proper department or staging area, maintaining proper lot control procedures.
  9. Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  10. Label and move drums containing skimmed oil to staging area for proper disposal.
  11. Follow all procedures as outlined in the ITW Drawform Quality System.
  12. Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures of ITW Drawform.
  13. Additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Able to lift approximately 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Pallet jack experience preferred.
