Job summary

Innovative Distribution Services is seeking a reliable Freight Unloader to join our warehouse team in Florida. The role involves unloading freight from trucks, sorting, labeling, and moving items to storage while upholding safety and efficiency standards. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed and maintain an organized workspace.

Hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 5:30am until finish (approx. 3pm).

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Freight Unloader to join our team. The Freight Unloader will be responsible for unloading freight from trucks and ensuring that the freight is properly sorted and stored. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Unload freight from trucks and transport it to the appropriate storage area
• Sort and organize freight according to destination and type
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move freight
• Ensure that all freight is properly labeled and stored
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30am - finish (approx. 3pm).

Pay starts hourly ($18) while training. Hard workings will succeed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or freight handling environment preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work day shift hours.
