1ST SHIFT Warehouse Stocker (6:30am-3:00pm)

Compensation - $17.25 / hour plus incentives

MSC is growing—and going—strong. We seek a team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment to perform various manual and mechanical duties to move a variety of raw materials throughout our Customer Fulfillment Center.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move product by hand, by skid, or by cart.
  • Put away all required product, including DOT items, to bins and racks.
  • Verify products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantity; inspect boxes and product for damage or improper packaging.
  • Scan labels into the warehouse computer system.
  • Stage product for put-away bins, overstock, or racks.
  • Consolidate racks, move and stage totes/skids for re-use.
  • Operate basic (electric pallet jack, forklift) and advanced (turret truck, order picker) powered equipment.
  • Train cross-functionally in other departments to support business needs.
  • Follow safety guidelines at all times, meet productivity and quality expectations, and participate in the Work Clean program.
Qualifications

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Internal certification to operate powered equipment within specified timeframes
  • Certification to handle DOT-regulated items if required
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions: standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, hearing, seeing, mental alertness, and operating at heights up to 50 feet.
