Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a reliable Warehouse Order Picker, Packer & Receiver to support daily warehouse operations in West Babylon, NY. This 1st shift role handles receiving shipments, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment while maintaining safety and organization.

The position requires basic computer and inventory-system skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, receiving, picking, packing, or shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count and identify products.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify products, quantities, and shipment information against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management.
• Accurately pick products based on customer orders and picking lists.
• Double-check product quantities, descriptions, and order information before packing.
• Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
• Print and apply shipping labels and other required documentation.
• Load and stage completed orders for pickup or delivery.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
