Job summary

Westaff is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate in North Haven, CT. Schedule is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with pay at $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include picking, stocking, and organizing inventory, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and using RF scanners for accurate order processing. Requirements include forklift and pallet jack experience, RF scanning preferred, ability to lift/move/stack materials, strong attention to detail, and perfect attendance.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
• RF scanning experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and stack materials throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent attendance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties including picking, stocking, and organizing inventory.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Wrap pallets, stage materials, and assist with loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
