Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Forklift Operator in Windsor, CT to safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading, transport, stacking and organizing materials across warehouse operations. You will inspect equipment, replenish locations and support shipping/receiving to ensure inventory movement.

The role emphasizes safety, spatial awareness, and accurate inventory handling, with a 3 PM–3 AM schedule and competitive weekly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of sit-down forklift, shipping and/or outbound experience.
• Prior RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to identify inventory, shipping docs, and locations with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack and organize materials across warehouse operations.
• Inspect equipment before use and replenish inventory locations.
• Support shipping and receiving activities and verify product movement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure safe material handling throughout the facility.
