Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Willard, Ohio is hiring for Kitting – 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm) at $20.60/hour. You will be part of the Materials Handling team, perform forklift safety checks, load/unload parts, and ensure accurate stock control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid lift truck operator license or complete lift truck training
• Must be able read and comprehend instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the Janus scanning guns and procedures
• Knowledge of the AS400 system
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate in the Material Handling team located in Willard, Ohio
• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift
• Load and unload parts
• Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy
• Keep plant stocked with the proper amount of parts
• Avoid overstocking facility with excess inventory
• Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies
• Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures
• Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader
