Job summary

Adecco Staffing has multiple 1st shift Assembly roles at a well-known manufacturing facility in Johnstown, OH. Starting pay is $17.60 per hour. Summary: Assemble tire repairs from rubber, fabric, plastics, paper, adhesives, and other materials using machines or by hand.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; ability to read simple words, perform basic math, and work well in a team. Safety, lifting, and following instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Read and recognize simple words; print and speak simple sentences.
• Perform basic math (add/subtract, multiply/divide) with calculators available.
• Reasoning: follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety guidelines and uses guarding devices.
• Reports incidents, no matter how minor.
• Reads and follows ISO documents and work instructions.
• Operates machines with manual, computer, or PLC controls.
• Cross trains on equipment as assigned by lead or supervisor.
• Rotates through breaks and fills in on other trained positions.
• Keeps machines fed with materials and corrects basic components.
• Verifies that Work In Process and finished goods meet quality specs.
