Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) is seeking a Team Lead for the 1st shift in Denton, TX. You will supervise hourly staff, drive process improvements in material flow, and coordinate line support and 5S activities.

You will collaborate with leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining strong internal/external communications and documentation. Lean experience and forklift capability are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years’ experience leading hourly personnel.
• Experience using a warehouse management system.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Lean manufacturing experience desirable.
• Ability to train others on section processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Supervisor to identify processes that require improvement in material flow, line support, 5S.
• Shift review with leadership team to include visual management and inventory logistics deviations.
• Coordinate training, work schedules and assignments and conduct shift transition meetings.
• Investigate and determine cause of defective work and advise on corrective measures.
• Develop/implement process initiatives.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Responsible for continuous improvement.
• Knowledgeable of back-up systems and procedures.
• Encourage and promote safe working practices along with enforcing safety and workplace rules.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• · Ability to train others on section processes and procedures.
• · Lean manufacturing experience desirable.
• · Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
• · Must have experience using a warehouse management system.
• · Must be a self-starter.
• · Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• · Must have excellent customer service skills.
