Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli is seeking a production supervisor in Stratham, NH to lead assigned production teams, ensure quality and safety standards, and drive cost-efficient manufacturing. This role focuses on training coordination, safety audits, and continuous improvement across the line.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to resolve issues, mentor staff, and maintain high performance metrics in a fast-paced chocolate production facility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and evaluate operational training and maintenance of training programs in an assigned production area.
  • Lead Washroom safety audits.
  • Coordinate corrective action for Safety Audit findings and Near Miss projects.
  • Conduct Washroom food safety audits with QA and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Complete assigned projects and side-jobs.
  • Communicate and work with other departments to resolve issues and/or make improvements.
  • Multi-task, motivate and guide multiple production crews.
  • Measure and report progress on Plant KPIs and LPW.
  • Develop and implement improvements to eliminate waste and improve production metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with policy, procedures and safety regulations.

Position Purpose

The person in this position is responsible for helping to lead the production teams in an assigned production area at the Stratham manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring the appropriate products are produced in the quantities required by production planning, ensuring high standards for quality within designated timeframes, at the lowest possible cost while maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordinating and evaluation of operational training and maintenance of training programs in an assigned production area.

  • Communicates and works with other departments to resolve issues and/or make improvements.
  • Ability to multi-task, motivating and guiding multiple production crews.
  • Support the Lindt Production Way culture by measuring and reporting progress on an on-going basis using Plant and Company KPI's.
  • Developing and implementing improvements to eliminate operational wastes in the process, managing and evaluating projects in the developing of LPW.
  • Improving the plant’s performance including Delivery Performance, Production Capacity, Operational Costs, and Quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure required quality hygiene standards are met and adhered to.
  • Monitor production processes and quality results to ensure policies and procedures are being followed. When issues arise, partner with a member of management.
  • Encourage and model effective working relations with employees, other production areas and functional support departments to ensure timely communication and effective execution.
  • Motivate and coach production staff to fulfill production requirements and develop a knowledgeable, flexible workforce with low turnover within production area.

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
Total Rewards

Compensation Range: $22.07 - $28.69

Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The company will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas.

Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
