JOB DESCRIPTION

1st shift T-car corrugator operator

Full time-Sunday Start up

$24.52 per hour

• following all safety rules and procedures;
• Reading factory work orders and converting schedules to learn customer specifications;
• Verifying(measuring) sheets to ensure that sheets sizes and score locations conform to customer specifications;
• Checking other board quality characteristics such as warp, score strength, caliper, bond, line-up, and if board is mottle white vs craft;
• Identifying sheets with chalk-written order numbers and/or load tags
• Removing stock, and identifying nonconforming materials (warp, loose, out-of-line etc;
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas;
• performing other duties as assigned by supervision

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications for Transfer Cart Operators are the ability to meet the requirements of the job with or without accommodation; the ability to read, write, and speak English; the ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; the ability to use basic shop math; the ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, the ability to work your required shift and any additional required hours; ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
