Job summary

Calyx Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking an energetic 1st Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech for our assisted living community. The role includes supervising care staff and administering medications to residents.

You will support PCA staff, maintain schedules, and ensure safety procedures and staff training are current. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Prior experience as Supervisor in Charge.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Active North Carolina MT Certification required.
• Active CPR Certification required.
• Weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care staff and ensure quality resident care.
• Administer medications per policy and ensure proper documentation.
• Support Personal Care Assistants (PCA) with daily care tasks.
• Maintain updated staff work schedule and handle call-outs/changes.
• Ensure staff training stays up to date and follow safety protocols.

Calyx is looking to hire Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech who will support the supervision of care staff while being responsible for the administration of medications and supporting the Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) by providing personal care services to our seniors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance to residents on a daily basis, supervising staff, keeping an updated work schedule as call outs/changes occur, assure training is up to date and follow established safety precautions.
