Job summary

Calyx Living in Durham, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech to supervise care staff and administer medications in our assisted living community.

The SIC/Med Tech will ensure resident safety, coordinate schedules, maintain training, and support Personal Care Assistants in delivering daily care to seniors.

Qualifications

• Must have NC MT certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Prior Supervisor in Charge experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

Calyx Living is actively seeking 1st Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech for our assisted living community located in beautiful North Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district.

Calyx is looking to hire a Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech who will support the supervision of care staff while being responsible for the administration of medications and supporting the Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) by providing personal care services to our seniors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance to residents on a daily basis, supervising staff, keeping an updated work schedule as call outs/changes occur, assure training is up to date and follow established safety precautions.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Prior experience as a Supervisor in Charge
• Prior experience with seniors strongly preferred
• Active North Carolina MT Certification required
• Active CPR Certification required
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
