Qualifications

• Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to print specifications and maximize productivity.
• Communicate equipment and tooling problems to operators and supervisors.
• Follow up with operators to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and participate in continuous improvement projects.

These values are the backbone of the business, reflective of who we are, what we stand for and how we work – both as a company and as individuals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Champion Lozier’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values by demonstrating the behaviors that contribute to Lozier’s success.Set-up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to print specifications in order to obtain maximum productivityBasic programming for laser or CNC equipmentCommunicate problems pertaining to the set-up of equipment and tooling to Machine Operators, Supervisors and TechniciansFollow-up with Machine Operators to ensure operation is running safely and efficientlyWork in a fast paced environment with changing priorities throughout the shiftReliable attendanceMaintain a safe, clean work environmentParticipate in continuous improvement projectsPREFERRED SKILLS:Currently have or be able to obtain forklift licenseAble to read and understand blueprintsWorking knowledge of measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper, protractor and micrometerDie setup experience in brake press, stamping or injection molding processesBasic troubleshooting skillsSpecial Demands:Able to lift up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the shift
