Job summary

Simon & Schuster US is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Take-Off Associate for our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. The role involves taking finished cartons off conveyor, stacking and wrapping pallets, and preparing shipments on the dock.

Requirements include reading shipping labels, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to overtime. High School Diploma is preferred; safety and clear directions are essential. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM, with equal opportunity employment.

Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Take-Off Associate to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will take completed cartons off of conveyor among other duties.

Duties:

• Take completed cartons off of conveyor
• Wrap cartons onto pallet
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Stage pallets on shipping dock
• Floor load trailers
• Operate low rider
• Other duties as assigned
