Job summary

Aerotek in Brea, CA is seeking a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk for a contract-to-hire role in a fast-paced automotive parts distribution center. The position starts around 5:30–6:30 AM and runs until 2–3 PM, with overtime and occasional Saturdays.

You will receive, restock, and dispatch inventory, load and unload trucks, and prepare orders using RF scanners, stairs, and pallet jacks. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and restock inventory and manage dispatch.
• Load and unload materials from trucks.
• Break down boxes and package items for shipment.
• Use RF scanners and order picking tools to fulfill orders.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
• Pick orders using stairs and rolling ladders.
• Maintain accurate inventory and housekeeping in work area.
