Aerotek in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Shipping Clerk (Temp) to support high-volume packing and shipping operations. The role focuses on accurate packing, labeling, and timely shipment while helping with inventory and continuous improvement initiatives. This onsite position is contract-to-hire upon performance.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of shipping experience, familiarity with carrier systems (FedEx/UPS/DHL), and proficient MS Office skills. Training and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, or DHL shipping systems.
• Basic to intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform packing duties per written policies and procedures.
• Verify materials picked match packing slips.
• Package and label shipments accurately.
• Process shipments using the company ERP and shipping systems.
• Create itemized packing slips and dangerous goods documentation when applicable.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
