Responsibilities

• Receive incoming raw, semi-finished and finished materials and check for damages and accuracy.
• Store and issue materials following established procedures and keep simple records.
• Locate and assemble required materials to fill customer orders and prepare reels for shipment.
• Wrap, pack, palletize and protect reels and cables for shipping according to procedures.
• Move materials using fork lift and other handling aids as needed.
• Transport materials to inspection or storage areas per requisitions or instructions.
• Identify damaged items and report to supervision; maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Prepare paperwork for returns and rejects with carriers as required.
